Tambo Colca Hostel

Yanque is a colorful village in the Colca Canyon, where you can find many accommodations for all types of travelers. It is characterized by its small streets and the scenery surrounded by mountains; children can be seen dancing in the square every morning while expecting a visit from passengers and then the town returns to the tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. There are not many modern conveniences or taxis, everything is very close and it is lovely to stroll through the town and admire the beautiful places all around.

Para llegar al pueblo de Yanque hay que tomar un bus desde Arequipa a Chivay (capital de la provincia de Caylloma), el viaje dura 3 horas y cuesta 12.00 nuevos soles. Llegar a la terminal sólo en la ciudad de Chivay y tomar una pequeña Mototaxi movilidad llamada (cobrado alrededor de 1,00 nuevo sol) a la terminal de automóviles que van a Yanque. El ticket tiene un costo de 1.00 nuevo sol hasta la Plaza de Yanque.

To reach the village of Yanque, you have to take a bus from Arequipa to Chivay (capital of the province of Cailloma). The trip takes 3 hours and cost 12.00 new soles. Once you get to the only terminal in the city of Chivay, take a small cab called a Mototaxi (which charges around 1.00 nuevo sol) to the terminal of cars that go to Yanque. The ticket has a cost of 1.00 nuevo sol to the Plaza de Yanque.
