Yanque is a colorful village that belongs to the Colca Canyon, where you can find many accommodations for all types of travelers. It is characterized by its small streets and the beautiful mountainous environment that surrounds it, where children dance in the square in the morning as visitors enter the town, and then regular tranquility returns that is hard to find elsewhere. There are no taxis here, everything is close and it is nice to walk since the scenery is lovely everywhere you look.

Para llegar al pueblo de Yanque, tiene que tomar un bus desde la ciudad de Arequipa hacia Chivay (capital de la provincia de Cailloma), el viaje tiene una duración de 3 horas y un costo de 12.00 nuevo soles. Se llega al único terminal de la ciudad de Chivay y se toma una pequeña movilidad llamada Mototaxi (cobrará alrededor de 1.00 nuevo sol) hasta el terminal de carros que van hacia Yanque. El pasaje tiene un costo de 1.00 nuevo sol hasta la Plaza de Yanque.

To reach the village of Yanque, you have to take a bus from Arequipa to Chivay (capital of the province of Cailloma). The trip takes about 3 hours and will cost 12.00 nuevo soles. Once you reach the only terminal in the city of Chivay, you can take a small taxi called a Mototaxi (which charges around 1.00 nuevo sol) to the terminal of cars that go to Yanque. The ticket has a cost of 1.00 nuevo sol to the Plaza de Yanque. From here, you can walk to the accommodation.
